Leigh Trust is excited to share Leigh Flourish, a new service to help children and families in our schools. Leigh Flourish will support children with their learning, help them develop resilience, and give them confidence for the future. It is a plan to help families and children grow and do their best. This is a long term plan that will help families become happier and healthier.

This year 2024/25 we are launching lots of activities for our 0-5 year olds. This includes the following:

• Stay and plays in each school
• A walk and talk at each school once a week
• beginning a programme called Startwell Birmingham, which is an      NHS approved programme based around 8 key characters and their messages to help early years settings, parents and health professionals create a healthier environment for our children and families.
• Community events in school

Rehana Yasmeen (CEO) and Julie Greenwood (CEA) of Leigh Trust said, "We are excited to start Leigh Flourish in our schools. Our goal is to help children and families grow and have a better future. Leigh Flourish will give families early help, help children become resilient, and encourage their hopes for the future.
